Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026. Please read these terms before using Notchi or purchasing Pro.
App license
Notchi is provided by Om Gawande (theSpider). The Notchi app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These pages explain our service and purchase practices; they do not replace that agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights. The website and app artwork are provided for personal use, not redistribution as your own asset library.
Free access and Pro
Free content includes all Miso animations and the Ultraviolet Notchi Rest animation. Other content requires Pro. Pro offers monthly, annual, and lifetime access to the available Pro collections and features, including alternate app icons. Pro can be active on one device per verified Notchi account at a time. Moving access to another device can take up to five minutes; periodic internet verification is required. Individual pack purchases are not offered. Previously purchased content is restored where its entitlement remains valid.
Some Pro companions can be previewed with the existing PRO badge without purchasing. Previewing does not grant ownership or unlock protected downloads or Pro app icons.
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases
- Monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple Account at confirmation and handles renewal billing.
- The price, currency, billing period, taxes, and any offer conditions shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation apply. Regional pricing may differ from examples on this website.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription charge. It grants Pro access for the lifetime of the Notchi service; it is not a promise of perpetual service availability.
- Access to subscription features depends on a valid entitlement, subject to Apple’s billing status and any configured grace period.
Manage or cancel an auto-renewing plan in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Apple’s subscription management page. Removing the app or deleting your Notchi account does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring purchases and refunds
Use Restore purchases in Notchi Settings with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Sign in to the same Notchi account when using account-linked downloads. Apple controls purchase and refund decisions; request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot promise a refund or issue one outside Apple’s process.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your sign-in codes private. Do not bypass entitlement checks, misuse download links, interfere with the service, or redistribute protected artwork. If you no longer want an account, follow the in-app deletion instructions.
Device and system limitations
Notchi requires iOS 26 or later. Dynamic Island features need compatible hardware and enabled Live Activities. iOS controls Live Activity duration, refresh frequency, visibility, and animation. A session can last up to eight hours; Shortcuts automation can request a new session but cannot guarantee uninterrupted display. In-app previews may differ from the system’s presentation.
Weather, Health, Calendar, and device readings are informational, may be delayed or unavailable, and are not intended for medical advice, emergency use, or safety-critical decisions.
Artwork credits
Bloub is by Jérémy Perret, used and adapted under the MIT License. Notchi’s original characters, supplied ghost icon artwork, and generated pet illustrations appear as app previews on this site. Third-party components retain their respective licenses.
Privacy, changes, and contact
See the Privacy Policy for our data practices. Features and these terms may change as the app develops, subject to applicable law and the terms of existing purchases. Questions about Notchi can be sent to [email protected].
